Trading with Liquidation Heatmaps: Predict Price Movements Before They Happen

What is a Liquidation Heatmap?

A liquidation heatmap shows price levels where leveraged positions will be forcefully closed. When BTC drops to $80,000 and there are $500M in long liquidations at that level, the cascade of forced selling pushes price even lower — creating a magnet effect.

How to Read the Map

• Red zones (below price) — long liquidation clusters. Price dropping here triggers cascading sells.
• Green zones (above price) — short liquidation clusters. Price rising here triggers cascading buys.
• Brightest/widest bars — largest concentration = strongest magnet

Trading Strategy

1. Open iSetMonitoring Liquidation Heatmap
2. Identify the largest liquidation cluster
3. Price tends to move TOWARD the biggest cluster
4. Open a position in that direction with a tight stop-loss
5. Take profit just before the cluster level (leave room for bounce)

Combine with Other Signals

Liquidation heatmap + Whale Alert (large exchange deposits) + Funding Rate (extreme positive = overleveraged longs) = high-probability trade setup.
